Nah, he had it earlier than 8min... Pr1me said it was 7:52 (full base, minus main d)... which sounds right, I dont remember the exact number... but it was definitely quicker than 8min.

Yep, np. I'll be on later tonight, I'm not sure if you'll be on tho in terms of giving u the replay =/. I posted the specifications on the Max Times page on the site, but here it is in case u haven't checked that out and you wanna try to get something similar:

36 gateways, 6 stargates.
98 probes, 6 arbs, 10 zealots, 10 temps, 19 goons.
All tech (including forges) except for Robotics and Fleet Beacon.
200/200 @ 7:53

Haven't been to this thread in a while... but I just shattered my Toss record.

200/200 @ 7:46

... i had 198 at 7:44 too. I don't know the specifics yet, but I know I had 6 arbs, 10 temps, rest goon/zel, and full-tech, normal 6x7 base. So yeah, I finally beat 7:52 and by alot, somehow.

I havnt maxed toss in about 8 months cannons > units ........ Maxing is for nubs!!!

I have been sulking around the old WaNa forums lately... I found this thread...

Really interesting, and SUPER nostalgic...

The thread is back from winter 2005/2006 when ZCT first started. But it relates back into like 2002 and earlier.

It just blows my mind to be able to look back and remember the days of Pimpz28, Qwertisk, end., Terranoxic, Andy1221, nbi.net, romper[bf], canadian[bf], alpha-4, 911-the-judge, macrostheblack, meng, zergaholic (noxic), blackpresident, da_s1ck_n355, r2_d2.

Then I think back to when I first met Uncas, tC, Lucivar, Megix, pr1me (I seem to remember trying to run my very first tournament with you pr1me, and it didn't work out because only like 2 teams showed up! haha)

Just to think about how the game was originally played, with no truly "set" builds... where you had to be able to know counters and defenses for litterally ANY attack because you never knew if someone was going to just mass nukes, or mass sci vessels, or drop lings asap, or go BCs, or carriers/scouts, bomb, recall, shuttle drops, etc etc etc. The sky was the limit.

Then it progressed into the "strive for perfection" that is mentioned a few times in the WaNa thread.

Just nostalgic atm

With that amount of players who were already at a high skill level, it wasn't very hard to become really good at all.  That's what I probably miss the most during the later ZCT days.

From reading old wana posts, the consistent top 10 names were:

but of course the merge of bw wasn't complete yet.

Why do ppl overrate frank so much?? He was average at best... Not impressive at ALL and I played bw more than most.. Not even close better than tc surya I could list so many people better than frank... Atleast the time I saw him??? Not very good...
