Change your hotkeys!

Hey there,

So, back when I used to play, I had all of my hotkeys for units and actions setup so that I never had to use the right side of the keyboard. Everything can be reached from the left side without moving my left hand (since my right hand is usually busy doing something else that involves pictures of Megix and Pr1me).

Ex: Build Pylon went from "p" to "s" (same as supply depots). Hatch an Overloard is "n" instead of "o". Siege mode and tank mode are now "g" instead of "o" (as well as research siege mode, "g" instead of "s"). etc etc... you get the picture.

I just downloaded all of the programming stuff to get it all back setup and re-acquainted myself with the process. SOOOO, while the process is still fresh, and I know I won't fuck it up, if anyone wants me to change any of their hotkeys, let me know. Just respond to this post, saying what you want changed (from what to what).

Interesting read, So how do you change your hotkeys?

you have to extract a file from your patch_rt.mpq file. From that extracted file, you have to go in and edit the lines of code that say what button refers to what action. You then replace the modified file back into your Patch_rt.mpq
