Anyone wanna help me get started again?

Hey guys, I'm tryin to start playin again, If anyone at all even still remembers me haha. I'm having some problems getting starcraft to work properly. It keeps on crashing on me (it minimizes and wont restore, so i have to close it via task manager).

I tried downloading adv loader to run it in windows mode but now I cannot access online because starcraft cannot recognize my version of sc. I uninstalled both adv and sc and it still doesn't allow me access. Any help?

sc is hard to play in windows mode. reinstall and set up your firewall correctly. try running it in compatibility mode.

It is in compatibility mode. I have been trying out all the different options but it still keeps doing it. I have windows 7 if that helps.

uh oh window 7!!!

If u use chaos/adv whatever... you have to right click and run it as adminstrator and make sure u uncheck the windows mode and once u run it as administrator it should work fine

Battle.net was unable to properly identify your application version. Please uninstall than reinstall the application. If the problem persists you may have a computer virus.

That's what it saying when I try to connect to battle.net ever since i tried downloading the adv loader. When I open the adv loader to launch starcraft it gives me an error message: Open Process failed. and then: External exception EEFFACE.

Make sure you are logged in as "administrator" and do what suggested, Right click on starcraft and run as admin.

It still freezes, and its running correctly now. I can't seem to access vista anymore on the boot menu. I'm gonna try changing the compatibility.

turn off firewall

if you use any launcher you must run sc through it. if a launcher is open and you run sc regularly you will get a version error

I fixed all the launcher problems, but I'm still freezing >_<, I have it running in compatibility mode too.
