Demurity is banned for Season 24

It's just the way that ZC is set up.

For those that dont know, the game was Surya P, PH T, and Looose Z -VS- Silly.Korean P Demurity T and Mystery Z

Silly.Korean is a good rising star in ZC -- for Protoss. He definitely has potential to be elite.
However VS SurYa P (best P all time, especially with good team) is HIGHLY difficult.
Demurity might have "fucked around" in the game because he knew he couldn't win the game. And Myst definitely didnt like that. Well, as we all should know -- There are upsets where a noober team beats a better one.

I'm not picking sides. On one hand, Mystery one handed provides us with the entirety of ZCLeague. Something never seen before as with ZCT there were multiple admins and judges.
Mystery did and does a tremendous amount for us to be able to game and i have the UTMOST respect for him. Even though he kind of sucks LOL.

Demurity is the best player at the moment. He does have some aggressive leadership role behavior in game but i don't think we can be at fault over that. He IS just trying to win the season as the best player SHOULD... (sort of speak)

It comes down to the fundamentals of elite gameplay VS good commucation. For example, Woots and PH are elite and they don't yell at teammates - Sometimes they work better with team because they don't put their team in a flustered state. Resulting in higher Win/loss ratio.

Whether Demurity's style is favorable for him is already set in motion by the elementals of ZC. It's tougher for him to win games just because he gets his team flustered. As opposed to players like Surya, PH, Woots, Uncas, (for examples) that are elite but don't really break down their teammates morale. And thus they have a higher chance of winning games.

In closure, sometimes you have to let the wind blow things in their respective directions. Aggressive management can backfire big time as people start to then challenge your every move.

The best teammates in any team scenario (sports, games, work, etc.) have good communication skills.
Nobody should be offended by shotcalls. What do you mean by "aggressive leadership"?  Being able to get your teammates to play better is the goal of team games

What the hell is all of this?  What, is there no such thing as a monetary ban, like for a few days?  I understand we are basically down to one admin, but mystery, do you think you should be making an emotional based ban over what I read to be over one game?

Take my comment with a grain of salt, I'm not online as much now and I do agree Demurity can be toxic.  All that pro-ness can get to your head and make you an asshole.  I also admire surya's replies, when he is on only like a couple times a month.'

I think Mystery, you should take the time (if you have it) this month to try and find yourself a couple level headed new admins to help you out and you can balance this whole situation out.  I am also for a temporary sort of ban for players that want to join games to just bm as players or as obs.

I went 2 nukes, 2 late silos.  I can show you at least 2 reps where nuking gave us a tremendous advantage and/or finished the game.

No offense to raider, but me at less than 100% is similar to him.  Why aren't you just banning everyone who isn't as good as the subjective standards you set?

You get no remorse for doing the responsibilities of an admin; that is expected. I gave you the season 22 scoring which I did on my own time as well, and I'm not even an admin.

In the past player that used to Sabo: 1) gets a dodge and eventually a ban, 2) players refused to play with the player.

Many players like to Sabo, ewie, jc, brat, Joe even Mason did yesterday...

I just want everyone to understand the difference between being a leader and being an asshole. Andy is not a leader. Anyone who ever took leadership role anytime in their life knows that being a leader isn't telling people what to do ("calling the shots") or selectively bming them. I was captain of my soccer team; I worked for my college's Career Center acting as a mentor to upcoming students; I'm president of Law society. From my experiences, being a bitch isn't a leader. I understand I tend to have no filter sometimes playing zc, but it's because zc is an outlet for me where I can let my guard down. Infinity and ph are right: Andy will selectively bm teammates, exaggerate what is going on, and bitch at them. Examples are that he thinks going mid alone is a great idea (gets eaten up by tanks or guards) and then bms when others do it. Or doesn't make anti but bitches about para. Makes no main d, but bitches when others don't. There is a fine line in taking a leadership role and bitching. Take woots, arie, sae as examples vs you. All great leaders who can command respect and a team. You are delusional if you think what you're doing is being a leader.

I agree with having more admins, but andy cannot be one. His whole integrity is in question; he is inconsistent in his opinions. Not qualities of an admin or a judge. And, no offense law, but you are one of the shadiest guys on zc. You have very questionable opinions, you bend rules, and you try to distort reality by some of your "opinions" and antics. You have a history of that. No way can anyone who has been playing zc long enough trust you with scoring.

Tech, I trust. I believe in his integrity, but not andy or law. And let's get one thing clear: andy bitching was one of the main reasons why prime quit. And why was he bitching? One reason was because he went mid with his mass vs tanks and guards, which he would have bmed endlessly if anyone else did that, and lost a game that ensured he would not win season 23. His "greatness" was exaggerated when everyone quit for years while he kept on playing. He has gotten better while everyone was rusty as shit. Now, with people unrusted, he's not untouchable anymore. Don't take this as bm; I consider andy easily top three right now and top three in terran all time, but lets not exaggerate his skills. Andy, take this time to contemplate your actions and lower your ego. Maybe if this was an "isolated" incident, everyone would rush to defend you. You think you're smart, so use your brain to reevaluate yourself.
