Hey so I was wondering if anyone has a vent server or know any vent servers we can use for ZCL?
Some might find it easier to talk rather than type or vice versa but I think it would be cool if we had one incase people would rather vent during games rather than type.
Of course it would only apply to people who speak english. ;D

I had a 1 year contract on a vent server back when I was running a raiding guild on WoW...
I will check into it and see if I still have it or not.
It is amazing at what the simple addition of Ventrilo will do for teamwork in a game. We played around with it back in WaNa in like 2003-2004... but it never really seemed to stick... Not sure why... No recalls ever got through because someone ALWAYS inevitably saw it and was able to yell on vent about it, rather than take the time to type.
Also worked amazingly for BMing and recording peoples' nerd rages... **cough** tycoon64_neo **cough**
why dont you skype or tc?
skype and tc takes too much cpu usage and might cause lag for people who dont have 2011 cpu updates aka ewie/brat and co.

only if they join ZCL and they have their own mini games included.. trying to promote activity -_- doesnt help though when goas like legend, scythe, KILLER worst of all, kyo don't encourage registration, i dont really care if myst threatens them not to, he can suck my dank.. but GOA need balls first to take in BM to join..IMO so LMK QQ

Well i got banned cuz i suggest 2players to register zcl... Myst/Shins made "goas" a dictatorship. Anyway most of them are/were BF (myst, even shins, iwin, stronger, cor, 007.5, lisa others with multiple accnts like blaze, washer, orange, etc. Imo its just about time to overthrow the dictatorship!
Anyway I enhance 3 "new goas" Destroyer, *pr1nce and recruiter! Hopefully they will register!

Yes GOA needs to understand they cannot get better within themselves and that they shouldn't be limited to who they play with or where they play. I'm all up for helping players get better and to help get activity going again.
Voted no. Nobody hearing my duck voice. Too much of a hassle people will be dumb instead of playing. This wouldn't be mandatory will it? Not sure how this will increase activity either. Typing easier and better

The server we use is also on my profile link, its perfect cause there are slots for a limit of 3 players. But one game where we were all on the channel, was tooo funny..

I offered last night to run the vent server since i leave my comp on to run bot, however b/c i use my neighbor's net, i can't change ports to open traffic. i use their net b/c it a lot more stable than mine. whenever i'm running bot OUR home net, it always disc throughout the day, but on neighbors there aren't any interruptions. :(
arie or scott could keep the server up since they both can and do run other channel bots. Arie should be able to get it running with np, maybe a lil help?

Last night we had 4 games w/o Killer and it didn't lag?
But if we can't host our own server, I'll just purchase one for 6 months but it'll be located in west since I'm in west and the ping for eastern players might be higher 70-90 compared to west 40-60.
Vent has made SC more entertaining, even dude[fdu] installed and we await for his perfect engleshhhhh. I hope everyone has learned how to install and set up the program not just for sc gaming purposes but any other reason to bm people for jokes and experience a different voice from different players. People all thought joe would have a "fat" guys voice, he sounds like a typical stoner. Kyo is our latest fob <3 and my mate Ace has an accent.
