ThatsCrazy - I don't need to say anything. His terran wasn't that notable, but his win ratio is only rivaled by SuryaMB. I wasn't around when he was active, but according to replays he had the fastest build with unit to date. I used to study his reps, im talking 8:05 base with lates and 200 psi and full main d.. something no one is able to do even today

Ive been playing zc since the longest time... since the BF clan was Op x[BF]x and we battled with op S0B and nobody knew about west at this point!

My favorite ZC game ever... and most fastest paced and competitive:

(game ended in a disconnect after 1 hour in the middle with everyone spamming units, both p's and t's had lost main at this point)

You guys disappoint me.

My list goes as follows:

tC - Lucivar may have firstly created the toss base that is so common, but tC perfected it. Amazing all around player, did SO MUCH for ZC, great guy. Revolutionary back in the 02-06 years.

Lucivar - His pure ability to mass was unrivaled... the father of massing.

Uncas - Probably my favorite terran to vs I loved matches against him and arie, and he was extremely intuitive with the game and ALL of the races.

LeFty- - True, he was caught map hacking, but he really innovated recall paths. Through his MH'ing, he actually found the high percentage recall paths, which, when people copied, turned out to be highly effective.

Mast - I have to put myself down... I preferred Terran during my prime, but I also had a very high winning % with Z and P, plus, Lefty, gravvy, and I created ZCT, which, from what I have read, is one of the reasons why ZC is even still around today This makes me super happy.

Surya - Just had an amazing all around game. Feared his toss, and played super delicately against his z and t. Perhaps one of the best, if not the best, all around players.

Korean - I learned my terran basics from watching his replays over and over... Always amazed at the damage he could do with 12 ports and 12 facts. Micro Management God.

Neo - Neo had an awesome Z, but his other 2 races lacked behind (compared to his Zerg), but the reason why he made it on my list, is the discoveries that he made with the ZC map. It was Neo that discovered that the later a building is built, the more priority it will have in creating units after the map comes unmaxed. This simple discovery changed EVERY single build strategy.

Sae - Again, another person that changed ZC, and mainly, toss tactics. After his complete and utter domination in the first few seasons in ZCT, people started copying his early build strategy... it was an interesting setup that allowed for 9min recalls, full base, late stargates, late obs, and massing ability for late in the game.

fcuk.athority - I just have to put him here because he was fucking hilarious. I miss that guy

Megix - Nuke Hacks. Need I say more? Also, some of the best SC ZC videos on youtube. I still love the tC triple

There is a big misunderstanding on the definition of Best ZC player of all time, I've played with everyone on that list and honestly some are definately NOT the best.

Most memorable does not belong here, neither does people that can do well with their limitations, or even people that DID a lot for ZC...

BEST player means someone that has a high percentage of winning. Someone you can count on that has a reputation for being very elite and delivers most if not all of the time.

These people include:

Surya, Sae, Tanka (though he hacked(s)), Demure, Tapsilog, Arie, PH, Killer, Uncas, GN[FDU], X-Plode, Tr0uble, Expert_Gamer, etc...

People that put those players that didn't even play with them are trying to look knowledgable and cool, and many infact did list them that didn't play much with them...

If you are eluding to me and/or pr1me, I hope you know that we were both around about 4-6 years before you even came onto the ZC scene....

Anyways, I disagree on what constitutes the "Best ZC Player(s) of ALL-TIME". I know that Surya and GN have awesome games, I played a LOT of games with them. They have a very high win %... but that, alone, to me, doesn't make someone great. There have been so many ZCers over the past 14 years that have had extremely high win %s, so to base the greatest player of all time just strictly off of a win/loss ratio is not only dumb, but inaccurate. That is why, to me, the greatest ZCers of all time not only have to have very high win %s, but they also revolutionized the way the game was played in one way or another.

Have you even heard of "end." "fcuk.authority" "alpha-4" "da_s1ck_n355" "r2_r2" "h1pp13_p34c3" "911_the_judge" "killa_kill" (lol @ killa_kill) "bam7" ? Probably not... all were highly regarded, at one time or another, (with the exception of 911 and killa) amazing ZC players, and had great win %'s... especially fcuk. Just because you haven't heard of them, or never played with them, doesn't mean that they were bad players

Sad that people think h1pp13 sucks, he's not as good now as he used to be, but back in the day, the only people above his skill level were tC, Tor]v[ent and Lefty (haxor!). Oh ya and he fucked us all over on the last sight, so that's another reason no one likes him.

ahhhh i remember op s0b, they were like rivals of BF @ East. I also remember the 911 clan, I remember my brother playing them in a wanagethy tournament... they were pretty good.

I don't get why not many BF members get notion in here... I remember players like korean, god, romper, chronohaze, ghost, aznkid being the best @ East, followed by other good BF members like fakk2, teflon, gung-ho, canadian, etc.

Currently, I think the best ZC player of all time should be someone from the recent era of ZC players because of how much the game evolved. Someone like demure or surya, I wouldn't mind stating them as the best player of all time. If you were to put them in any era of ZC, they would simply dominate because of how polished and optimized their strats have become, in ALL THREE RACES (not so sure of Surya's z).

NO BIAS IS INVOLVED.

Hypothetically speaking, if the aforementioned players like tc, lucivar, byu1, etc. were to play ACTIVELY in this era, they would probably have a much higher potential to be the best than someone like demurity.

I agree with Tyler (Mast) that winning the most games doesn't put you into the catagorie of the best ZCer of all time, imo it comes down to the complete player who can do anything and everything required no matter the race selected and can sum up the situation of the game at hand and adapt accordingly to win the game.  A person with great intution of the game aswell as great building/microing skills is the complete player and not many people i've met during my long years on here have both those abilities. thatsCrAzY to me is the greatest of all time (won alot of seasons and countless games against the odds) and is only rivaled by Uncas and Surya at times as they both did the same but not quite to the degree thatsCrAzY did.

The game style has changed slightly but not that much and to me the current quality of gaming is far less then compared to when ZCT was active (in prime) and imo only a few people atm would compete decently in a game with the likes of thatsCrAzY, Uncas, Surya, Byu1 etc. etc.
