10 - Players with high win % and can win games alone; saved for the best players
9 - Players who can play all 3 races at elite level and play at high level games/fast mm games
8 - Players with good tech usage and good unit control
7 - Expert level
6 - "GOA" level
5 - Saved for "Low Pros"
4 - new to ZCL
3 - pub stars
2 - pub level
1 - new to ZC

. . . .well if Thunder or Liquid would actually do their part as admins, you could have asked them to do this when i first suggested. . .at least it's gonna be used now. Now bads like Stephy + Killer + Brat + GN will be exposed!

Rating ppl its funny, but it isnt necessary, actually its a waste. Ppl didnt understand the iccup score, the standings wont change in anything with the new rating...

The main purpose of ZCL player ratings, which will be kept private for now, is to generate certain amount of points for better or worse teams.  Not everyone is going to gain the same amount of points.  I don't believe i should be getting the same amount of points off a win off surya compared to a guy like ewie (no offense) but people should get rewarded more for their accomplishments.  That's why people who ONLY play low pro games wont have the same ladder rating compared to a guy who plays all games low pro/high pro or w/e terminology u guys prefer.  This ladder system will show a guy who's record is 8-2 having a ladder rating of 1380 could be compared to another guy who's record is 8-2 but with a 1700 rating.  Thats why like trouble said, guys like stephy, killer and brat will finally be exposed.

This works on the old zcl score as well. On zcl if  a low pro plays only with with low pros he ll get a lower a mount of points that a pro that plays only with pros. Y? cuz some1 has to lose, if u start playing with low pros or noobs, they are going to  receive loses... and u ll start get less points.

W.e just watch the next seaon (if it works), standings ll be similar (w/o counting the new players that might play it).

Well not entirely true.

It still includes the old ladder system, but the old ladder system didnt have player ratings to generate more points for rewards.  The old system basically made every player equal except the fact that it was the more games you played, the higher your rank would be and the more points would be gained/loss.  The player ratings would specify the amount of points generated from each match. 

Heres an example:

Law[BF] 8-2 ladder 1600 - ladder rank C+
Pr1me 8-2 ladder 2200 - ladder rank A-
Rank difference of 5+
If Law[BF] *beat* Pr1me[FDU]
Law[BF] would gain 175 points
If Pr1me[FDU] *beat* Law[BF]
Pr1me[FDU] would gain 10 points

Heres another example:

Law[BF] 7-1600 Ghost[BF] 7-2000 Athena[BF] 8-2200  *beat* Thunder[FDU] 9-1400Pr1me[FDU] 8-1300 Stephy 7-1400
avg. team player/ladder rate [7/1933/B] *beat* avg. team player/ladder rate [8/1367/C-]
Winner team more active, yet ranked lower compared to Losing team who isn't as active, yet ranked higher
Top team has a rank difference compared to bottom team of B -> C- which is -4 and player rate difference of 1+ overall team difference of -3
Top team would gain **25 points** since team rate of B

Reading the example above, even playing against "high pros" still wouldnt do much to the scoring as being active as the example shows, you would still gain almost close to minimum points.

GN was a jk, but the other 3 consistently play vs bads and dodge gG games to "obs". Exposure will create massive lulz

Not at all, It doenst matter the mount of the games, after u got a higher rank.

But ya from the start i said zcl score had problems. Its pretty hard to adjust it!

And about your second example, thats exactly what im talking.... the "real pros"  arent real pros then, at least in that game, and the "real pros" was the other team. Even zct had something similar. If pr1me "real pro" has been losing this week. 2-8, y shoud  i gain more points? Cuz some1 said he was "real pro"?

Anyway  the standings wont change in anything, except if u are "overated" with the new rating.
