ZCL and BM = toxic community

I understand we all should be adults by now, love the game.

But why can't we all grow up and admit our mistakes when we FUCKING make them and move on?

People cannot take criticism for once for FUCKS sakes and this is ruining the game.

I know everyone may think I'm a pussy but I don't have to play the game if it makes it no longer fun to play.

I really love starcraft and zero clutter for sure, i've been a pub for over 10 years and just got with zcl people for the past 2 months, learned a lot and see my self trying hard to improve.

One thing i can't take is BM, and especailly when the shitty player ( no names mentioned) bm's it drives the shit out of me and the temper can't make me focus anymore.

This BM has to be adjusted.

IF you think I'm just talking bullshit and being a pussy, I will leave the community and just stick with pubs.

Slap just take their insults like a grain of rice, they think they are better than everyone.. well they have been was wasting 5 years of their lives playing ZC. while we are recreational players. They don't understand it's for fun, the win is important but that's not all of it. I also hate it when they want you to make a certain unit but they get pissed off while u already made sht loads of it but the other team is too good and keeps denying it

Many people have felt that way. I refused to join ZCT for a very long time for that reason. After I joined I would always try to get Athena to join ZCT or ZCL I don't remember which but she wouldn't for a very long time. I'm not sure if it was because she was scared of BM or because her clan leader was hitler aka ghost[bf]. I think a little of both. People weren't nice to me in the beginning either. I hate to break it to you but it will not go away.. But you can always just squelch. You should use it as motivation to prove them wrong. There are some really nice people here though you should try to fight through it

Slap don't worry about that. Johnnycage is toxic and always been like that. Don't even bother about him when it's late, he is drunk and he does mediocre performances of teamwork. Yes ZCL can be cancer and I've been triggered many times and I'm still triggered by the cancerous BM but focus on the game, not the player who trashtalk you, it will ruin your gameplay/motivation. EDIT : There will always have many good and chill ZCL players @op senmon so don't worry man

BM has been in the culture just like how trash talk has been in basketball's. I do agree we can do a better job at managing this, but the only way to avoid bm really is to become much better so that people cannot not bm you.

Well the thing is, it depends on my mood too. Sometime I get high tolerance to bullshit, like bm's and trolls but sometimes I get triggered so hard and it's doing no good to my body.

I joke around a lot, which is my character and people understand that. I'm not a person who pretends to be something or someone else online because that's so wack thing to do.

When I play with pubs, I really don't care by losing or winning because I know I can have fun even if my team mates are bad, I can teach them and give them advices and so on.

Some of the pub players are from old school, such as ZCT and they told me that don't like the ZCL BM so they rather play comfortable games.

I don't know how big ZCL was back in the day, but if we are willing to welcome the new comers with warm hearts, (to be honest I was welcomed nicely by FALCON, TRIPPY, and DEMURITY)

So, don't blame others if this ZCL dies real quick again and never comeback because the responsibility rely on every one of us.


Also, I've thought about this.  If a pub player wants to play in ZCL, why don't we have an audition by designated coaches? Coaches can give them a couple of lessons, give them replays so they could study and they will go through a few audition steps.

As we give ranks to the pros (elites, high pros, low pros whatever), there must be a procedure for a pub player to be successfully converted into a proper zcl player.
