- Players caught smurfing will be banned for the remainder of the season.

For Brat admitting for smurfing under Mrs. Surya,

Bratizbak/Love)l( is banned for the remainder of season 8.  Any games that include her will not be counted towards ZCL season 8 anymore.

Imo the "smurf rule" requires:
1.- Make a new accnt (brat did)
2.- Pretend be a new player, or other player (brat didnt)
3.- Register the smurf accnt on zcl (brat didnt).

It doesnt make sense at all seriously, kyu should get banned cuz he has an fhw accnt? or marco? or orange? or iwin? or me? wat about smurf games? wat about joe? arsenic? tanka... taps? jc? lol...

Y didnt u ban dude[fdu] when he was playing under "looose/xplode"? (no aka reported during like 5 seasons?)

I was alot more lenient back then about not posting aka's since I wasn't scoring but since i'm doing scoring, I will be editing and checking all reports from now on.

Decision's final, post aka's before games and post the player's game they used.  If it is not listed under aka report thread, I'm going to give 24 hours for player to register.  If player used different account and not listed under aka report thread, game will not count.

I have edited season 7 at your request's law, all other 5 season's, I never payed attention due to mystery being in charge of the scoring.

Smurf game's also never get posted, don't think anyone has ever posted a smurf game from ZCT to ZCL. 

Brat, for a person who said they never want to play ZCL or get their account deleted numerous season's, there's no reason for you to say anything at all to us that would matter.  You can resume playing ZCL games in season 9 or beginning of October.

woahhh. this is interesting.. if i was playing sc nowadays id be throwing a party.. but as an admin im kinda confused. we used to play smurf games all the time. never reported.. if people knew she was mrs. surya (who wouldnt) im kinda confused what shes banned for. if she didnt register mrs. surya on site you kinda have no reason to ban her lol. kinda dumb to take away someone away from zct for making a new account and playing a game. i changed names all the time. even aznkid would make aznkid[bb] when arie/killer/lefty were allies just for fun. thats kinda harsh. i dont understand why the game was reported either?? sososo confused.. lol

Why not ban joe? If u are going to ban some1 ban ph for false reports. Even more he posted some games played with garbler as "x_expertgamer_X" (when admins started to remove games played with garbler)

This is absolutely absurd.

What happened is that Brat signed off and made a new name of Mrs.Surya, she announced who she was and didn't pretend to be someone else at all.

We started a game and she pretended that she registered, but none of us confirmed it. I was on the winning team. After she lost, she was convinced not to register her name by Taps so they don't get the loss.

Though this is very shady of Brat to do, she did nothing wrong under ZCL rules or code of conduct. None of us checked before the game whether she really registered -- which we should have.

This is not smurfing by any means, she could have easily been banned and made her go on her regular name. Moreover she never pretended to be anyone else on that name!

Please unban Brat, if we are to follow rules and common sense, this ban is nonsensical.

First I would like to commend Jay, for being more active as an Administrator? I think all of us participating are very grateful for his contribution to the site.  However, with this recent banned of brat, I and other members feel it?s simply just too harsh.

Did she do something wrong? Well, like a coin there are always two sides to this, but as I was actually in the game she played as Mrs. Surya, the burden is on the HOST and the rest of the players to make sure that all players with a new name are registered. In a lot of games I played, the host would not start a game if the player or players were not already registered on the site. Now should she have registered beforehand or afterwards, probably? but she didn?t thus making the game null and void. Like I said, the burden is on the host and other players to make sure any official ZCL games that are played ? all players are registered.

Does the punishment fit the crime? Well I already said, I think it?s harsh, but if you are to enforce this you must enforce the other players who have breached ZCL regulations too.In my very humble opinion? and oh is it ever so humble? I think you (JAY) should make a thread or statement somewhere saying, ?From this day on, DADDY is here to monitor you children and to enforce parental punishment on those who disobey. In the past, DADDY has been very lenient with the rules due to work, but now DADDY is HOME and he is taking an active role from now on. Transgressions from the past will no longer be tolerated anymore."

I think this allows us as the community to know that the ADMINS are more active and that the BS that was allowed in the past will not be tolerated in the future. Laws in our society are only as effective, if they are to be enforced regularly and equally among all. To enforce this harsh penalty "out of the blue" on Brat is tough and unjust, as it has been something as many others have posted a common thing among us all.
