Title: reporting
Post by: korean]to[ on April 14, 2011, 08:51:20 PM
hey admins, i have a question. Lets say infinity, dermunity, tapsilog, pacman, looose, and stephy play a game. They all use their regular names but pacman decides to change his name into one of his smurf names he made up. If he doesnt register on that acct, does that game still count as zcl? if so, whats the point of posting akas on site?

If someone joins melee, and then returns into ums with smurf name, thats a dodge.  When I do scoring and I'm looking through games and see one aka only being used for 1-2 games. I will count them as a dodge.

Why are you using my name as an example. Haven't played in weeks kyu.
couldnt think of anything lol
and what if the person reported the game used the guys aka? like if stephy was on princess[fdu] and its not registered and she played on it but pacman reported infi dermunity pacman BEAT stephy looose tapsilog but she played on princess[fdu], not stephy. what happens then?

if princess[fdu] was posted on aka forum prior to the game, its fine since stephy = princess[fdu] either or its been reported as same person so they can report either or name.

i mean if she never registered on princess[fdu], is that legal? if its legal, then why even bother posting akas if you can just use their regular acct name when ur reporting

The reason we have the aka forum is to save people from registering more than one acct on the forum. There's no need to register another account if you have already registered, all you have to do if you want to use a new name is post your aka. If you were to register a new account, that would be considered smurfing, even if people know its you, you're suppose to post aka instead.

To answer your question kyung specifically, she would not have to register, she would just have to post aka. There's no need to register another account on the forums, that's why we have the aka thread.

Ok here's how it is.

3oo joined melee
3oo has a set team for ums determined from melee
3oo joins ums under new aka 3o1
People might know its 3oo but when it comes to scoring, we might consider it as a new player
The game is played but 3o1 loses the game
No aka was posted prior to game
3o1 is not registered
Admins look at the activity, game would not count, the other 5 players involved should not have continued playing with 3o1 knowing aka was not posted or player was registered if they wanted ZCL game

no im saying

3oo joined melee
3oo has a set team for ums determined from melee
3oo joins ums under new aka 3o1
People might know its 3oo but when it comes to scoring, we might consider it as a new player
The game is played but 3o1 loses the game
No aka was posted prior to game
3o1 is not registered
so the person reported reported as team team team BEAT team team 3oo instead of 3o1 which was the name he played under. is that legal or not?

prime is saying its not legal because the name they play on needs to be registered or posted as an aka
